# Manifest iPadOS | 3.1 Release Notes

> Version 3.1 release notes for Manifest iPadOS with new features, improvements, and bug fixes.

## About this release

Below you will find all the latest updates introduced with Manifest 3.1 – now available in the [Apple App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/manifest-for-ipad/id1455322709). Manifest 3.1 for iPadOS includes both feature enhancements and usability improvements in response to various user feedback and feature requests.

*3.1 was published to the Apple App Store on August 5, 2024*

## Support notes

Important! Clients with On-premise configurations must be running Docker version 3.0 or higher **before** updating their application to ensure compatibility.

Docker 3.1 is estimated to be available by mid-August 2024.

## Overview of what’s new

****Feature enhancements for adding Step Notes, Evidence, and Fault Notes:**** 

* Ungrouping of Notes: Across all Manifest platforms, we’ve updated Notes so they are no longer grouped by Note Type and can be reordered as desired - giving Authors more control over the sequence Notes should be displayed on a Step and reviewed by the user.  

* Authoring: Added ability to Author Choice Notes on iPad  

* Photo Markup Tool: Added ability to change the background color of text in the photo markup tools 

* Photo Markup Tool: Added a new rectangle shape as a markup option

**Additional updates and usability improvements:** 

* Added the ability to Share a Published Template via Connect (access this under the More options menu in a Published Template) 

* Connect: Connect now displays a red icon when the user is 'busy' 

* Template List in Job creation now wraps to handle longer names   

* Jobs: Inform Operator when a Step requires a Choice selection before it can be completed 

* Jobs: Inform Operator why "Done" is disabled due to required evidence, unlocked Team Job, or due to the Step being assigned to another user  

* Jobs: Added ability to tap on Work’s Assigned User icon to view name

**Bug Fixes:**  

* Fix issue where portrait Photo Notes would be covered by UI 

* Fixed various issues with the Offline Work sync that was causing crashes and/or Photo Evidence to be overridden. 

* Fixed a bug where the Video Evidence would not load in Offline mode 

* Fixed a bug where Authoring a Step Leader Line would generate multiple extra lines  

* Added the option to share Published Templates  

* Various additional bug fixes and improvements
