# Manifest iPadOS | 4.1 Release Notes

## About this release

Manifest 4.1 introduces a significant refinement of **[Roles and Permissions](/manifest-roles-and-permissions)** across the applications. This update also incorporates feature enhancements and usability improvements based on user feedback and feature requests. Below you will find all the latest updates introduced with Manifest 4.1 – now available in the [Apple App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/manifest-for-ipad/id1455322709).

## Support notes

Important! Clients with On-premise configurations must be running Docker version 4.1 or higher **before** updating their application to ensure compatibility.

Docker 4.1 will be available soon.

## Overview of what’s new

* Clearer delineation of what each role can view and do, empowering clients to customize user access more effectively

* Real-time permission/role change updates

**Client Settings Improvements:**

In this release we focused on various bug fixes and improvements.

* Fixed various bugs related to 2FA setup

* Fixed various bugs related to inviting members and assigning steps in Team Jobs

* Fixed a bug where completed Jobs were not moving to the Completed column

* Fixed a bug with deeplinking between Manifest Maker and Manifest for iPad

* Fixed a bug where step titles were not displaying correctly

* Fixed a bug where text note formatting was inconsistent between versions

* Improved handling of Work completed by a deleted user
